A fun crochet colourwork bag with a bold geometric design and a simple construction. The entire bag is worked as one long rectangle, then folded and seamed together while attaching the I-Cord strap.

This pattern is perfect if you’d like to try crochet colourwork and practise working with multiple colours and floats. You can also make the bag your own by choosing your favourite colour combination!

The lining and closure are completely optional, but instructions are included if you’d like to add that extra finished touch. :)

Yarn - Knit Picks Dishie Worsted Weight, 109yd/100m, 1.76oz/50g

Yarn Used for the Bag:

Colour A - Butterscotch - 49g

Colour B - Swan - 38g

Colour C - Ash - 18g

Hooks - 5mm/H/8

Scissors, Yarn Needle, Stitch Marker (optional)

Optional Materials:

Any closure (button, magnetic button, zipper), fabric for lining

Gauge - 18 sts x 14 rows = 4" x 4"

Measurements - 6.5" W x 9" L(without strap, folded)
